Welcome to the Beta Reader's Hub

Update! I've taken the Guidebook and made it into three quick videos.

Where readers and authors co-create magic—one chapter at a time.

Hello, lover of books (I’m making assumptions here, I know! ;-))!

Janine Bolon here and I’m tickled you found your way to my website.

Whether you’ve read one of my books,

joined me for Open Friday Coffee, or

you’re just a book-loving wanderer who clicked a shiny link (I’m so guilty of this!)

you’re in the right place.

This space?

It’s not your typical “beta reader program.”

Nope.

This is more like a comfy book nook where we connect, chat, and cheer each other on.

I call it Beta Readers Hub, and it’s my way of

staying in touch with folks who know me,

love books, and

are curious about being part of an author’s adventure.

So… what is a beta reader?

Think of it like this:

📖 You get early access to new books (sometimes half-baked, notebook-scribbled chapters, ideas that are struggling to see the light of day!)

🗣️ You give feedback, encouragement, or just cheer me on when I hit that mid-story “what heck am I doing?!” wall. (The struggle is real.)

🎈 You’re part of the creative journey—no perfection required, just your curiosity and love of story.

Some authors only have three chapters and a dream.

You get to help us shape what comes next.

And trust me, just one “How’s the next chapter coming?” from you (my dear reader) can pull a writer out of the muck and back into their magic. (Hint, hint!)

💌 Why does this matter?

Because writing is hard. (Blank pages are scary! Just ask any author.)
Because connection makes it better.
Because authors don’t just need editors, they need readers with heart.

🎁 What you’ll get:

  • Downloadable Journal Pages (They are short, sweet, and free)

  • Invitations to read my newest projects (like The Thriving Solopreneur and Dancing with the Divine).

  • A front-row seat in the co-creation of stories.

  • Occasional silliness, updates, and maybe a crocheted axolotl story. 🧵

🥳 Who is this for?

  • People who’ve said, “I love books so much, I used to bring a laundry basket to the library.” (Okay, that was me homeschooling my 4 kids!)

  • People who want to help, but don’t want tech headaches or publishing lingo.

  • Readers who love being part of something joyful, meaningful, and slightly wacky. (bascially describing my weird humor right now.)

This isn’t about pressure or perfection. This is about being part of something creative, kind, and… well, human.

Thanks for stopping by.

And remember—if you love books, you’re already halfway there. 💜

Cheers from Colorado,
